In Persia, the art of rug making is as old as civilization itself. Carpet and antique experts all over the world that Persian textile are the finest and most original of all hand made carpets. This is due to their original design patterns, wonderful color harmony and artistic expression. The design pattern of Persian carpet has evolved over centuries and communicates the history of a particular people; their culture and identity over centuries of time. Patterns evolved from the earliest tribal weavers were passed on from master weaver to apprentice as the legacy of culture.

For generations the Mohsen Family has collected, traded, repaired fine antique and semi-antique carpets. The delicate art of repairing antique textiles was passed on from father to son. The skill needed to dye wool, match knot size, texture and reweave complex patterns requires a family effort.
